Reduce Overwhelm with the 4 D’s

Feeling overwhelmed with all of your lists and things you feel like you have to do right now?

Try applying the “4 D’s”!

1) DO the things that are important that only you can do
2) DELEGATE items that you can to someone else who can help you
3) DELAY the things that don’t need to be taken care of immediately
4) DELETE the things that don’t actually need to be taken care of at all

This technique from My Steady Mind has helped me personally. It has also helped my coaching clients tremendously to reduce the load they are carrying day to day, reduce that feeling of overwhelm, and focus on the things that matter most each day.

Focus = Productivity and THAT feels good!

So ask yourself…What do I NEED to do today? What can I delegate or get help with? What can I delay to another day/time? Finally, what can I delete or cancel all together?

Say goodbye to overwhelm and hello to focus.

Your time, energy, and attention are your most valuable assets. Invest them wisely!
